How Do I Register For a Program?

In order to register for programs you MUST have an ACTIVE Household Account.

1.)  If you are NEW to participating in activities with our department, you will need to create a household account.  This can be done on our website or by visiting the front desk of the Macomb Township Recreation Center.

2.)  If you already have an existing household account, you will need your username and password to register online.  If you need assistance with retrieving this information, contact the front desk at 586-992-2900.

During the account setup process, please be sure all household information is completely filled out and accurate so we can better serve you.


Resident & Open Registration

Macomb Township Resident registration for Fall/Holiday Programs begins Monday, August 26th, 2019 at 6:00am.  Open registration begins Wednesday, August 28th, 2019 at 6:00am. Participants can register for programs online, by mail or at the front desk.  Registrations will be taken daily at the front desk up until one hour prior to the facility closing.  If registering by mail, please download the registration form, and submit with payment.

We accept cash, check (no checks for birthday parties) & credit card payments (Visa & MasterCard only). Credit card payments are accepted at the Front Desk or Online ONLY.  A driver’s license will be required for ALL transactions.


Equal Access

No participant shall, on the basis of race, sex, creed, national origin, or disability, be denied equal access to programs, activities, services or benefits.  We welcome the participation of persons with disabilities in our programs and facilities.  Please complete the special needs portion on our registration form when registering if you or your child needs special accommodations.  To allow sufficient time to coordinate program inclusion and make reasonable accommodations, please register at least two weeks prior to the program start date

Cancellations

Macomb Township Parks & Recreation reserves the right to cancel a program due to a lack of enrollment or circumstances arising out of its control. If a program is canceled all registrants will be notified and a full refund of registration fees will be processed.

 

Refund Policy

Class Refunds
Unless noted in a class description or other published material, customer-initiated refunds will be honored through the first class meeting. If the refund is requested as a household credit, which can be used toward future activities, the entire amount will be credited. If the original payment method was by check, a refund will not be processed until two weeks have passed from the date when the check was originally presented for payment. Refund checks will be mailed within 4 weeks. If the original payment method was by credit card, the refund will be processed as a credit back to the card. All customer-initiated refunds will incur a $5.00 processing fee.

Trip Refunds
No refunds on 1-day Trips, 1-day Events & 1-day Classes unless a replacement is found.

Special Event Refunds
There are no refunds on special events.
